Avha Creations, a local artisanal crafts business, approached me with a challenge: transform their offline-only business into an online powerhouse that could showcase their unique handcrafted products while creating a seamless shopping experience for their customers.
The goal was to create a fully responsive e-commerce platform that highlighted the quality and craftsmanship of their products.
I approached this project with a comprehensive strategy that focused on both aesthetic appeal and functional excellence. My process involved:
I began with an in-depth discovery session to understand Avha's brand identity, target audience, and business goals. This was followed by market research to identify e-commerce best practices specific to artisanal products and to analyze competitor websites.
After establishing the project requirements, I created user personas. This informed the wireframing and information architecture, ensuring an intuitive and frictionless user experience.
The UI design phase focused on creating a visual language that reflected the handcrafted nature of Avha's products while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic. I developed a custom color palette and typography system that enhanced the brand identity.
I built the website using modern web technologies, ensuring it was fully responsive and optimized for performance. Special attention was paid to the product catalog.
Rigorous testing across devices and browsers ensured a flawless user experience. After addressing all issues, we launched the site.
